Ed and Sherry McDonald are the owners of Barkin' Buddies. Ed is an animal lover who wanted a job that would allow him to bring his pets to work. Guided by his love for all animals and a supportive wife, he took his dream and started Barkin' Buddies Resort & Daycare. Sherry has a degree in Education and teaches children with special needs.

"We started Barkin' Buddies because we wanted to offer an alternative to traditional boarding in our community. We didn't like the idea of leaving our two Labs in a typical kennel where they were caged, got little attention, little exercise, and no interaction with other dogs. At Barkin' Buddies, your dog will enjoy spacious, comfortable and clean suites where they can snooze or have quiet time after romping in play group activities with their favorite playmates. We believe dogs deserve the best quality care while Mom and Dad are away. We view ourselves as partners with you and your furry companion."
